Enjoy the flavor of Chinese schezwan at home with some red chilies to spice up our taste buds. You need to try this to experience a new dimension of Chinese.


Chicken boneless 500 gm

Salt 1/2 tsp

White pepper 1/2 tsp

Whisked egg 1

Corn flour 1 tbsp

Oil 1 tbsp

For Gravy:

Oil 1/4 cup

Crushed garlic 1 tbsp

Whole red chili 6

Carrot finely chopped 1

Capsicum finely chopped 1

Cabbage finely chopped 1/2 cup

Chili sauce 2 tbsp

Ketchup 3 tbsp

Soya sauce 2 tbsp

Salt to taste

White pepper 1/2 tsp

Sugar 1 tsp

Chicken stock 1 cup

Corn flour 2 tbsp

Water half cup


Mix chicken with all the ingredients of marination.

Leave it to marinate for half and hour.

Now fry the marinated chicken and leave aside.

In oil saute’ garlic and whole red chili.

Add in carrot, capsicum and cabbage, saute’.

Add chili sauce, ketchup, salt, soya sauce, white pepper, sugar, chicken stock and stir.

When it comes to boil, add fried chicken to it and cook for a while.

Dissolve corn flour in water and add it to gravy while stirring.

Let it simmer gently till gravy thickens.

Serve hot with steamed rice or fried rice.
