Mushrooms in soups!!What’s more energetic and flavorsome appetizer than that? Get ready to try this super nutritive soup at home


1 pound fresh mushroom

1 onion

1/4 cup butter

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon pepper

2 cloves fresh garlic, minced

2 tablespoons arrowroot powder

1 quart chicken broth

1/2 cup heavy cream, (organic)

1/2 cup sour cream, (optional)


Chop mushrooms and onion and mince garlic.

Melt butter in a large pan and add chopped mushrooms/onions and garlic.

Sauté until translucent and cooked.

Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Sprinkle with arrowroot.

Add broth and simmer until it starts to thicken (about 10 minutes).

Add cream and sour cream and stir in until smooth. To go dairy free, use heavy coconut milk instead.

Serve as a soup or use as cream of mushroom soup in recipes.
