Ingredients:

Rice – ½ kg

Sounf seeds (fennel seeds) – 2 tsp

Zeera (cumin seeds) – 2 tsp

Onion – 1

Salt – 1 tsp

Oil – 4 tbsp

Spring Onion – 250 gms

Matar (green peas) – ½ kg

Dhaniya (green coriander) – ½ bunch

Mint leaves – ½ bunch

Green Chilies – 4

Garlic Cloves – 4

Lemon Juice – 4 tbsp

Method:

  • Heat 4 spoon oil in a pot and brown 4 tsp onions in it.
  • In a blender chop 2 tsp souf, 2 tsp zeera, ½ bunch fresh coriander(dhaniya), ½ bunch fresh mint, 4 green normal and fresh chillies, 4 garlic cloves and 4 spoon lemon juice.
  • Now add this mixture into the fried onions. Along with this add ½ green peas (matar) and mix everything well on high heat.
  • To this add 1 glass of water. When it boils once or twice add ½ kilo pre- soaked rice.
  • Once the rice has simmered, add 250 gms spring onions and turn off the heat.
  • Finely your Hara Masala Rice is ready.
