Ingredients:

For Sugar Syrup:

Sugar – 1kg

Water – 250gm

For Jalebi

Yeast – 100gm

Flour – 200gm

Soda – 1 pinch

Water – 100gm

Oil for deep fry

Method:

  • Make a mixture of sugar and water by boiling, then turn off the stove for cool down.
  • Now, mix all ingredients expect oil and make a fine paste.
  • Then take a cone shaped cloth piece and put the mixture into it.
  • Make the jalebi in oil and fry till it gets brown in colors from all sides.
  • Now put them in prepared sugar syrup and serve hot.

Sohan Halwa:

Sohan Halwa is also called Multani Halwa. It is the most famous sweet dish of Multan. It is mostly using for a gift purpose, a yummy sweet desert of Pakistan.

Ingredients:

Starch – 1/2 cup

Flour – 1 1/2 cup

Sugar – 1 kg

Small cardamom – 6-7

Walnut halves – 1 cup

Almond – 1 cup

Clarified Butter – 1 1/4 kg

Method:

  • Add starch, flour and butter in a pan and mix well.
  • Add 3 ltr water and mix well and then cook on low flame until water boils.
  • Now add sugar and cook until is completely dissolved.
  • Take off from stove and sieve through a muslin cloth to another pan.
  • Cover sieved mixture on cool place for overnight.
  • Next day, cook again on low flame till the color change and add butter slowly and cook for a while.
  • Now blend cardamom and add into the halwa. At last, sprinkle almond and walnut.
  • Let it cool and cut into pieces and store in airtight box.

Gulab Jamun:

Gulab Jamun is a most favorite sweet dish in Pakistan. It is the must have sweet dish in every occasion, even every celebrations, celebrate with gulab jamun.

Khoya – 250gm

Egg – 1/2

Sugar – 2 cup

Water as required

Kewra as required

Butter as required

Flour – 1 tbsp

Suji – 1 tbsp

Baking powder – 1/2 tsp

Oil for fry

Method:

  • Cook sugar in a pan with water to form sugar syrup.
  • Beat egg and add khoya and suji into it.
  • Mix all the ingredients with hands nicely.
  • Knead the mixture with butter and baking soda and make small balls.
  • Now deep frying the small balls until it turns into golden.
  • At last, dip the balls in sugar syrup and serve hot.

Carrot Shredded – 2kg

Milk – 1 ltr

Milk Solid – 250gm

Sugar – 1 cup

Kewra few drops

Butter – 4tbsp

Dry Fruit as required

  • Pour milk in a pan and cook carrot in it until the milk dry.
  • Now ad sugar into it and mix well.
  • When the water dry, add milk solid and dry fruits in it and cook well until the smells come.
  • At the end add kewra in it and serve it with topping of milk and dry fruit.
